Elizabeth Faber, MPH has been the Coalition Director of Iowa Immunizes since its inception in late 2019. Iowa Immunizes is the statewide immunization coalition committed to protecting the health of Iowans through vaccination of children and adults. Elizabeth began her career in public health while working as a home health aide during college. She obtained her Bachelor in Health Science at Truman State University and Masters in Public Health with an emphasis on Community Health education at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Elizabeth became interested in vaccines after encountering anti-vax sentiments in online mommy groups after the birth of her oldest child over 16 years ago. Elizabeth lives in north central Iowa with her husband, four sons, and cat Archie.
